A Special Meeting of Far East Lodge No.1, F&AM was held in the Masonic Temple, Yokohama, Japan on the 13th day of January 1971.
A Lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons was opened in due and ancient form at the order of the Wor. Master in the East at 19:00 hours with Bro. Steinheimer in the East, Bro. LaSalle in the West and Bro. Riffle in the South, for the conferring of the 1st degree of Masonry.
The 1st Degree of Masonry was conferred on Mr. Arlyn D. Simpson, Jr. in due and ancient form with Bro. Watters in the East, Bro. LaSalle in the West and Bro. Riffle in the South.
Mr. Simpson knocked on the door at 19:30 hours, was admitted at 19:35 and obligated at 19:50 hours. Bro. LaSalle presented the Lambskin Apron. Bro. Otani presented the Working Tools.
The Second Section of Third Degree was conferred on our newly obligated Bro. in due and ancient form with Bro. Steinheimer in the East, Bro. Watters in the West and Bro. Riffle in the South.
Bro. Steinheimer gave the Lecture. Bro. Steinheimer delivered the Charge.
Bros. Fox and Somerville were examined and found proficent in the 1st Degree of Masonry by Bro. Watters.
Peace and harmony prevailing the Lodge was closed in due and ancient form at the order of the Wor. Master in the East at 21:20 hours with Bro. Steinheimer in the East, Bro. LaSalle in the West and Bro. Riffle in the South.
