The 176th Stated Meeting of Far East Lodge No. 1, F&AM, was held at the Masonic Temple, No. 3 Bluff Yamato-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, Japan, on the 1st day of December 1971. A Lodge of Master Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 19:50 hours with Acting Worshipful Master Brother Otani in the East, Brother Riffle in the West and Brother Webb in the South.
Bro. Otani then requested MW Brother Robertson to assume the East and conduct the meeting, and Bro. Otani replaced Bro. Webb in the South.
The Wor. Master announced that the first order of business would be the reading of the minutes of our last Stated Meeting and all subsequent meetings.
Bro. Keene moved that reading of minutes of the Special Meetings be suspended. Carried.
The Minutes of the Last Stated Meeting were read and approved.
The Secretary also read invitations of various Lodge Installation of Officers of other Lodges and gave dates, times and places.
The Wor. Master then read in open Lodge as required Arts. 100, 100a, and 100b.
He then announced that elections for Officers for the ensuing Masonic year would now be held. The following Officers were elected.

The Secretary read the bills for the Month of November and they were approved as read.
There being no further business to come before this Lodge of Master Masons, the Worshipful Master announced the the Lodge would procceed to close. Peace and Harmony prevailing, this Lodge was closed in due and ancient form at the will and pleasure of the Worshipful Master at 21:15 hours with MW Bro. Robertson in the East, Bro. Riffle in the West and Bro. Otani in the South.
