The 617th SPECIAL MEETING of Far East Lodge No. 1, F. & A. M. was held at the Masonic Temple, No. 3 Bluff, Yamate-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, Japan on the 17th day of January, 1979.
A Lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 19:00 hours with Bro. William Bright (SW, Yokosuka Lodge No. 20) Acting WM in the East, WB Jack C. Barrs (WM) Acting SW in the West, and Bro. Millard C. Sketo, JW in the South.
The WM recognized the distinguished Brethren and first time visitors present as listed in the Tiler's Register of this date.
He then announced that this Lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons had convened for the purpose of conferring the First Degree of Masonry upon the following named candidate:
Mr. JUDY, Lonn Allen.
The above named candidate was obligated an Entered Apprentice Mason with Bro. Bright (acting WM) in the East, WB Barrs (acting SW) in the West, and Bro. Sketo JW in the South.
The WM then announced that there being nothing further to come before this Lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons we would proceed to close. Peace and harmony prevailing the Lodge was closed in due and ancient from at 21:35 hours with Bro. Bright (acting WM) in the East, WB Barrs (acting SW) in the West, and Bro. Sketo JW in the South.
