The 619th SPECIAL MEETING of Far East Lodge No. 1, F. & A. M was held at the Masonic Temple, No. 3 Bluff, Yamate-Cho, Yokohama, Japan on the 14th day of February 1979.
A Lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 19:00 hours with Bro. Byron D. Brown (JW Yokosuka No. 20, acting WM) in the East, Bro. Millard C. Sketo, SW elect in the West and WB Saburo Katagiri JW elect in the South.
The WM recognized the distinguished Brethren and first time visitors present as listed in the Tiler's Register of this date. He then announced that this Lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons had convened for the purpose of conferring the First Degree of Masonry upon the following named candidate as courtesy for Yokosuka Lodge No. 20.

The above named candidate was obligated as an Entered Apprentice Mason with Bro. Byron D. Brown (acting WM) in the East, Bro. Millard C. Sketo, SW elect in the West, and WB Saburo Katagiri, JW elect in the South.
The Charge was delivered by WB Bill Fogle (WM, Yokosuka No. 20)
The WM then announced that we would now listen to the proficiency of the below named Entered Apprentice:
Bro. JUDY, Lonn Allen.
The examination was conducted by Bro. Sketo after which the WM pronounced Bro. Judy proficient in the First Degree.
WB Barrs congratulated Bro. Gary Robert Lalone on being initiated an Entered Apprentice Mason and also Bro. Lonn Allen Judy on his fine proficiency. WB Bill Fogle added his congratulations and fraternal greetings from the Officers and Members of Yokosuka No. 20, and invited all to their next meeting.
The WM then announced that there being nothing further to come before this Lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons that we would proceed to close.
Peace and Harmony prevailing this Lodge was closed in due and ancient form at 21:30 hours with Bro. Byron D. Brown (JW Yokosuka No. 20, acting WM) in the East, Bro. Millard C. Sketo, SW elect in the West and WB Saburo Katagiri JW elect in the South.
