The 620th SPECIAL MEETING of Far East Lodge No. 1, F. & A. M was held at the Masonic Temple, No. 3 Bluff, Yamate-Cho, Yokohama, Japan on the 21st day of February 1979.
A Lodge of Fellowcraft Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 19:00 hours with Bro. Millard C. Sketo (SW elect, acting WM) in the East, WB Jack C. Barrs (WM, acting SW) in the West and WB Saburo Katagiri (JW elect) in the South.
The WM recognized the Distinguished Brethren and First Time visitors present as listed in the Tiler's Register of this date.
He then announced that this Lodge of Fellowcraft Masons had convened for the purpose of conferring the Second Degree of Masonry on the below named Entered Apprentice;
Bro. JUDY, Lonn Allen.
The above named Entered Apprentice Mason was obligated as a Fellowcraft with Bro. Millard C. Sketo (acting WM) in the East, WB Jack C. Barrs (acting SW) in the West and WB Saburo Katagiri (JW elect) in the South.
The second section of this Degree was conferred on our newly obligated Fellowcraft Mason with Bro. Millard C. Sketo (acting WM) in the East, WB Jack C. Barrs (acting SW) in the West and WB Saburo Katagiri (JW elect) in the South.
The WM then congratulated Bro. Lonn Allen Judy on his passing into the Second Degree. WB Barrs also congratulated Bro. Judy and encouraged him to continue his good work and announced that next week would be a Third Degree.
There being nothing further to come before this Lodge of Fellowcraft Masons the WM announced that we would proceed to close.
