Minutes 25 March 1979

The 626th Special Meeting of Far East Lodge No. 1, F&AM, was held at the Masonic Temple, No. 3 Bluff, Yamate-Cho, Yokohama, Japan on the 25th day of March 1979.

A Lodge of Fellowcraft Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 19:00 hours with WB Jack C. Barrs, WM in the East, Bro. Millard C. Sketo, SW in the West and Bro. Harry W. Clarke, MM (acting JW) in the South.

The WM recognized the distinguished Brethren present as listed in the Tiler's register or this date.

At the sound of the gavel in the East the WM requested the Brethren to he upstanding for a moment of silent prayer in memory of:

Brother RHOADES, Plummer Lee.

known among his many friends and brothers as "Dusty Roads" who had just recently gone to that Celestial Lodge above. He will be missed from among the Brethren.

The WM then announced that this Lodge of Fellowcraft Masons had convened for the purpose of instruction in the Second Degree and called the Brethren free from restraint.

WB Barrs conducted an informal and very informative lodge of instruction with a question and answer period which was enlightening and enjoyed by all.

At the sound of the gavel in the East the WM announced that there being no further business to come before this Lodge of Fellowcraft Masons we would proceed to close.

Peace and harmony prevailing the Lodge was closed in due and ancient form at 20:30 hours with WB Jack C. Barrs, WM in the East, Bro. Millard C. Sketo, SW in the West and Bro. Harry W. Clarke, MM (acting JW) in the South.
