The Secretary read the minutes and they were approved as read.
Next was the Treasurer's Report given by WB Hodges, PM. It was moved by WB Hodges and seconded by WB Watanabe that the Treasurer's report be approved as read, subject to the usual audit. MOTION CARRIED

Next was the report of the several committees:

SICK AND VISITATION: WB Watanabe reported and telephonic contact with MWB Nishiyama, PGM, indicates that he has reduced his alcohol and cigarette consumption and as a result his health is improving. There is a small hope that after the weather warms up he may be able to attend lodge now and then.
REFRESHMENT AND ENTERTAINMENT: WB Hodges reported that the invitations to the installation have been mailed and that all necessary arrangements have been made for the Installation and Banquet. WB Heath requested WB Hodges to prepare a "Toast List" to be used at the banquet WB Hodges responded that he would have such a list ready.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS: WB Heath advised that both Bros. Macomb and Takumi will be raised on 23 January 1992. He also announced that MWB Kobayashi, PGM, GM, will not be able to attend our installation as originally planned owing to his having to be the Installing Officer for Lodges 5 & 6 on that day. Other than MWB Ditto, PGM, it is not known what other G/L officers will attend.
NEW BUSINESS: WB Heath reported that he had received Christmas Greetings from MWB Quick, PGM, who extends Fraternal Greetings to all lodges and Brethren here in Japan. It was understood that his wife, Joan, has recently been ill but that she now seems to be on the road to recovery. WB Heath then announced that Bro. Art Oliver, who was in attendance today, informs us that he will be departing Japan at the end of this month and returning to the United States where he intends to reside. On behalf of WB McCauley and the Brethren of the lodge WB Heath bid Bro. Oliver a most fond farewell and his wish for "following winds and fair seas". Bro. Oliver responded with appropriate remarks.
The WM then announced that there being no further business to come before this Lodge of MMs, we would proceed to close.
