Minutes 18 February 1995

The 666th Special Meeting of Far East Lodge No. 1, F&AM, was held at the Masonic Temple, No. 250 Yamashita-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, Japan on the 18th day of February 1995.

A Lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 14:14 hours with WB Welsh, WM in the East, WB Katagiri, PM, SW in the West, and RWB Yamaya, (Acting) JW in the South.

The WM recognized the Distinguished Brethren present as listed in the Tiler's Register of this date. He then announced that this lodge had convened for the purpose of conferring the First Degree of Masonry on Mr. Kiyoshi Ogiu.

Mr. Ogiu was obligated as an Entered Apprentice Mason with WB Welsh, WM in the East, WB Katagiri, SW in the West, and RWB Yamaya, (Acting) JW in the South.

WB Hodges presented the Lambskin Apron. WB Welsh presented the Working Tools. WB Watanabe gave the Lecture. RWB Yamaya delivered the Charge.

The Lodge was then called briefly free from restraint for the purpose of congratulating our newly obligated Brother.

The WM then announced that there being nothing further to come before this lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons we would proceed to close. Peace and harmony prevailing, the lodge was closed in due and ancient form at 16:25 hours with WB Welsh, WM in the East, WB Katagiri, SW in the West, and RWB Yamaya, (Acting), JW in the South.

There were 10 Brethren present.
