A Special Meeting of Far East Lodge No. l, F&AM was held at the Masonic Temple, 77-12 Honmoku Midorigaoka, Naka-ku, Yokohama on the 9th day of August, 2008.
A Lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 13:15 hours with WB Buda, PM, WM in the East, Bro Sagara, acting SW in the West, and Bro Honda, acting JW in the South.
The WM recognized the Distinguished Brethren present as listed in the Tiler's Register of this date. He then announced that this lodge had convened for the purpose of conferring the First Degree of Masonry upon Mr. Alawn Jordan.
At 13:45 hours, Mr. Jordan gave three distinct knocks on the door and was admitted into the Lodge and Obligated an Entered Apprentice by WB Buda. Bro. Sneathern gave the Working Tool Lecture and Bro Honda did the Apron Lecture. The Degree Lecture was given by WB Buda with the concluding Four Cardinal Virtues section given by MWB Watanabe. The Charge was delivered by WB Buda.
After Bro Jordan had been conducted to a seat in the Lodge, WB Buda gave the usual instructions and advice.
The Lodge was then called briefly free from restraint for the purpose of congratulating our newly obligated Brother.
Peace and harmony prevailing, the Lodge was closed at 16:15 hours in short form with WB Buda, WM in the East, Bro Sagara, acting SW in the West, and Bro Honda, acting JW in the South.
There were a total of 12 Brethren (including FC, EA and Candidate) present and two potential candidates joined our harmony.
