The Special Meeting of Far East Lodge No. 1, F&AM was held at the Masonic Temple, 77-12 Honmoku Midorigaoka, Naka-ku, Yokohama on the 22nd day of November 2008.
A Lodge of Fellowcraft Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 13:25 hours with WB Buda, PM, WM in the East, WB Herrera, PM, acting SW in the West, and Bro Honda, acting JW in the South.
The WM recognized the Distinguished Brethren present as listed in the Tiler's Register of this date. He then announced that this lodge had convened for the purpose of conferring the Second Degree of Masonry upon Bro Alawn Jordan.
At 13:40, by three distinct knocks on the door Bro Jordan was admitted into the Lodge and obligated a Fellow Craft. Bro Sneathern gave the Working Tool Lecture, Bro Inomata the Degree Lecture and WB Buda the G Lecture. The Charge was also delivered lso by WB Buda. All lectures and charges were given in English.
The Lodge was then called briefly free from restraint at 15:25 for the purpose of congratulating our newly passed Brother.
At 15:35 hours, the Lodge proceeded to close.
Peace and harmony prevailing, the Lodge was closed at 15:40 hours in short form with WB Buda, PM WM in the East, WB Herrera, PM acting SW in the West, and Bro Honda, acting JW in the South.
There were 10 Brethren (including 1 FC) present and two visitors: Bro. Clifford M. Cuseo of Temple Lodge No. 65, West Port, Connecticut and Bro Gabriel Balea of Lodge Star in the East No. 640.
Regrets were received from Bros Tsujii and Wachi.
