A Special Meeting of Far East Lodge No. 1, F&AM was held at the Masonic Temple, 77-12 Honmoku Midorigaoka, Naka-ku, Yokohama on the 24th day of October, 2009.
A Lodge of Fellowcraft Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 13:15 hours with WB Buda, PM, WM in the East, Bro Inomata, SW in the West, and Bro Honda, acting JW in the South.
The WM recognized the Distinguished Brethren present as listed in the Tiler's Register of this date. He then announced that this lodge had convened for the purpose of conferring the Second Degree of Masonry upon Bro. Adams and Bro. Ishibashi.
At 13:30 hours, by three distinct knocks on the door Bros. Adams and Ishibashi were admitted into the Lodge and Obligated Fellowcraft Masons by WB Buda. Bro. Taiki Ogawa gave the Working Tool Lecture, the Staircase Lecture was given by Bro. Tsujii and Bro. Tomio Ogawa gave the G Lecture. The Charge was delivered by MWB Watanabe.
The Lodge was then called briefly free from restraint for the purpose of congratulating our newly obligated Brethren.
Peace and harmony prevailing, the Fellowcraft Lodge was closed at 15:15 hours in short form with WB Buda, WM in the East, Bro Inomata, SW in the West, and Bro Honda, acting JW in the South.
There were a total of 12 Brethren (including 1 FC) present, with 2 EAs visiting the Temple. Regrets were received from Bros Sagara, Sneathern, Tatara and Wachi.
