A Special Meeting of Far East Lodge No. 1, F&AM was held at the Masonic Temple, at 77-12 Honmoku Midorigaoka, Naka-ku, Yokohama on the 27th day of February, 2010.
A Lodge of Master Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 13:15 hours with Bro Inomata, WM in the East, Bro Sagara, SW in the West, and WB Buda, JW in the South.
The WM recognized the Distinguished Brethren present as listed in the Tiler's Register of this date. He then announced that this lodge had convened for the purpose of conferring the Third Degree of Masonry upon Bro Eric Anderson.
At 13:30 hours, Bro Anderson gave three distinct knocks on the door and was admitted into the Lodge and obligated a Master Mason by WB Buda. Bro Tatara gave the Working Tool Lecture.
The Tragedy began with WB Inomata as King Solomon and WB Buda as HT. The Degree lecture was given by Bro Sagara and the Charge by WB Buda. Nearly all of them were conducted in English with a few parts in Japanese, Bro Anderson being fluent in that language.
As the newest MM of the Lodge, Bro Anderson expressed his sincere thanks to all the Brethren who had worked hard to confer the Sublime Degree upon him.
The Lodge proceeded to close at 16:15 hours in short form with WB Inomata, WM in the East, WB Herrera, SW in the West, and WB Buda, JW in the South.
There were a total of 11 Brethren (including FC) present. Regrets were received from Bros Honda, Sneathern, and Wachi.
