A Special Meeting of Far East Lodge No. 1, F&AM was held at the Masonic Temple, at 77-12 Honmoku Midorigaoka, Naka-ku, Yokohama on the 27th day of November 2010.
A Lodge of Master Masons was opened in due and ancient form at 13:00 hours with WB Buda, acting WM in the East, Bro Sagara, SW in the West, and MWB Watanabe, acting JW in the South.
The WM recognized the Distinguished Brethren present as listed in the Tiler's Register of this date. He then announced that this lodge had convened for the purpose of conferring the Third Degree of Masonry upon Bro Yutaro Suzuki.
At 13:30 hours, by three distinct knocks on the door Bro Suzuki was admitted into the Lodge and obligated a Master Mason by WB Buda with the assistance of a Japanese translation by Bro Sagara. Bro Taiki Ogawa gave the Working Tool Lecture in Japanese.
The Tragedy started with MWB Watanabe as a KS and Bro Sagara as HT. The Degree lecture was conducted by Bro Tsujii who gave a wonderful performance and the Charge was delivered by MWB Watanabe. All of them were conducted in Japanese.
As the youngest MM of the Lodge, Bro Yutaro Suzuki expressed his sincere thanks to all Brethren who had worked hard to confer the degree upon him.
The Lodge then proceeded to close at 16:10 hours in short form with WB Buda, acting WM in the East, Bro Sagara, SW in the West, and MWB Watanabe, acting JW in the South.
There were a total of 11 Brethren (including one FC) present. Regrets were received from Bros Honda, Anderson, Sato and Tamado.
