The 586th Stated Meeting of Far East Lodge No. 1, F. & A.M. was held at the Masonic Temple located at 77-12 Honmoku Midorigaoka, Naka-ku, Yokohama on the 5th day of February 2011.
A lodge of MM's was opened in due and ancient form at 13:00 hours with WB Inomata, WM in the East, Bro Sagara, SW in the West, and Bro Tsujii as JW in the South.
Then, WM recognized the Distinguished Brethren as listed in the Tyler's register of this date.
And he announced that this being our Stated Meeting for the month of February 2011, the first order of Business would be the reading of the minutes of our last Stated Meeting and all subsequent Special Meetings. The Secretary read the minutes of our Monthly Meeting held on 8 January and it was APPROVED AS READ.
The treasurer report for the month of January reported by Bro Secretary due to the absence of Treasurer and after which he moved and it was seconded that the report accepted as read subject to the usual audit. MOTION CARRIED.
The Secretary then read the bills for the period after which he moved and it was seconded that the bills be paid. MOTION CARRIED.
Next was the report of the several committees: All committee reports were negative with the exception of the followings:
RECEPTION OF PETITIONS: None.
BALLOTTING: None.
CORRESPONDENCE: Grand Lodge Monthly Bulletin and ECM of 22 January posted on the Bulletin Board in the Conference Room. And Bro Secretary reported of Lodge official delegates for GL Annual Communication and about cost of travel and lodging of voting member.
CHARITY: Amount of ¥11,749 (11,099 + 8.00USD) was collected as alms of February from brethren present.
SICK AND VISITATION: Negative report.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Installed Bro Sagara to SW and Bro Taniuchi to SD who were not attending Installation Ceremony in January by reason of business and caught flu respectively.
The Ceremony had conducted by WB Sagara as Installing Officer and Installing Marshal by MWB Watanabe. After the conclusion of the Installations, WB Inomata called the Lodge free from restraint for the purpose of congratulating Bros Sagara and Taniuchi, and to give the Brethren a short break.
NEW BUSINESS: Labor was resumed at 13:45 hrs and WB Inomata proposed the creation of three ad-hoc committees: Education, Refreshment, and Cleaning. After full discussion among the Brethren, the following appointments were moved, seconded, and approved:
Masonic Education: WB Buda (Chairman), MWB Watanabe
Refreshment: Bro Tsujii (Chairman), Bro Anderson, Bro Jordan
Cleaning: Bro Sagara (Chairman), Bro Ishibashi, Bro Suzuki Yutaro
EA CONFERRAL: WB Inomata then outlined his tentative schedule for Lodge activities in 2011, the first being the conferral of the First Degree of Masonry on Mr. Hoshi and Mr. Suzuki Shunji, postponed from January 29, 2011. The conferral would be held at a Special Meeting on Saturday, February 26, and the Following work assignments were made:

CLOSING: At 14:55 hours, there being no other business, WB Inomata proceeded to close the Lodge in due and ancient form. Peace and harmony prevailing, this lodge was closed at 15:05 hours with WB Inomata, WM in the East, Bro Sagara, SW in the West, and Bro Tsujii JW in the South.
There were total 15 MMs of this Lodge and 5 visitors.
