Every year Far East Lodge No. 1 has been contributing food and sweets to the Orphan's Christmas Party sponsored by Yokohama International Women's Club.
This year the Lodge once again contributed three large turkeys, pizzas, and numerous soft drinks.
The parties used to be held in the Yokohama International School's gymnasium, above the old YIS temple. For several years now, however, the venue has been YIS's new cafeteria.
This year the party was held on Saturday, December 4. Children from two orphanages took part and after the party the Lodge received copies of photographs from the YIWC organizers, along with warm thanks for our continuing support.
