The stated meeting for May was held one week later than usual, the Lodge having received a dispensation to hold it on May 13 instead of May 5. The main items of business in the first part of the meeting were reading the petition of Mr. Hiroki Mikuni, ballotting on the application of Mr. Kiyoshi Wachi, and listening to the First Degree Proficiencies of Bro. Takashi Tsujii and Bro. Martin Sneathern.
WB Herrera congratulated Bros. Tsujii and Sneathern on their Proficiency in the preceding degree and the Lodge was called free from restraint to prepare for the conferral of the Second Degree of Masonry on Bro. Martin Sneathern and Bro. Dimitrios Tsuruyiannis.

Having been admitted in due and ancient form, the two Brethren were obligated by WB Herrera and received the Working Tools from MWB Watanabe. The Staircase Lecture was delivered by WB Buda and the Charge was given by MWB Watanabe.
